Virtue’s Gentle Light

By Dr. Ahmed Almosawi

In gardens where the lilies grow,

And sunlight bathes the earth below,

There walks a soul, both pure and true,

Whose heart is kind in all they do.

With every gentle, thoughtful deed,

They plant within the world a seed—

Of hope, of joy, of selfless care,

A tender love that lingers there.

For virtue is a quiet flame

That burns within, without acclaim;

It guides the lost, uplifts the weak,

And teaches peace to those who seek.

The world grows brighter where they tread,

With words of comfort softly said;

Their goodness, like a summer rain,

Revives the weary, soothes the pain.

So let us walk this noble way,

And scatter kindness every day;

For in such love, we find our part—

The truest virtue of the heart.
